Born in Huntsville, Bo has been writing his own songs since he was fourteen. In fact, Bo claims that he'd been singing as soon as he'd learned to talk. He has been performing since he was nine years old, and he has had formal training at a high school choir. He seems to have picked up music all on his own and taught himself to play piano and guitar. He won his first competition at Brown Elementary School in Syrma, Georgia, and then later on second place at the Georgia State Competition (singing "God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood), at nine years old. He also won the state vocal competition in Atlanta at twelve years old.

- Bo also holds a degree in massage therapy and music production at the University of North Alabama.

- Bo would love to someday own a guitar store or get into the music business.

- Bo likes to cook and is interested in photography.
